8x42 – Wide field of view (128m). Lower magnification offers increased depth of field and increased stability. Excellent choice for viewing nature in densely forested terrain and for following birds in flight.
10x42 – Higher magnification for observing detail at extended distances. Excellent choice for hawk watching, shore birding, and on wide open terrain where an extended observation range is required.
